PRESENT: Councillors L Jenkin, J Thould, K Allen and C Parnell and the Clerk.
Having noted an apology from Councillor Smith, the Clerk declared the meeting to be inquorate. As
a consequence, no business was transacted. The Clerk and councillors apologised to a prospective
councillor; and to two members of the public who wished to address the council about their planning
application. The applicants discussed the application with the councillors. Councillors agreed
responses to the planning applications listed on the agenda which the Clerk will post on the Cornwall
Council website with a note clarifying the circumstances in which they were made. The Clerk will
ensure with bank signatories that scheduled payments are made to creditors before the next council
meeting. The prospective candidate had an informal discussion with councillors about the council’s
activities.
The Clerk will contact councillors to arrange a date for the next council meeting.
